    SWEDEN

It is interesting to note that the UK and Spain have had severe lockdowns but have more deaths per million than Sweden. Economically it shows that the impact on the their economy is three times worse than Sweden, which is not trivial. Also, it does not include the deaths caused BY the lockdowns which would significantly increase the deaths per million..

Sweden could have done better. Most deaths were in care homes but the residents probably get very little sunshine and so are probably low in vitamin D. I have never read about vitamin D supplements being given in care homes anywhere. Also, a rational appraisal of treatments would show that zinc+HCQ is worth trying with little risk, but it appears Sweden did not bother pursuing this.

The elephant in the room is Japan, which also has had no lockdowns but with minimal deaths. Japan, Korea and China all seem to have minimal deaths. The common element seems to be the drinking of green tea. There is a component of green tea, EGCG, which works in a similar way to HCQ in facilitating the absorption of zinc by cells.

I have recently started taking capsules of green tea extract equivalent to 9 grams of green tea, plus a zinc supplement. No idea if it works but it is everyone for themselves with regard to C-19!

    ‘SECOND’ WAVE!

References to a ‘second wave’ irritate me. Regular flu dies back in summer. A ‘second wave’ would be if it re-appears in the following winter.

C-19 does NOT die back in warm weather so this is still the FIRST wave. Lockdowns may have slowed the infection rate but eventually everyone will be exposed to the virus. In effect we are all ‘Sweden’, only the timescale differs.

Lockdowns have dire consequences and should not be used lightly, which unfortunately they are. They do not save lives but DO cause deaths, both now and in the future.

Probably the country in the worst position is Australia. They were able to ‘contain’ the infections but at the cost of one of the most vicious lockdowns in the world. It means that few Australians have had the virus so the lockdowns will need to be kept in place until a vaccine is available. I can not imagine the consequences of their actions.

    Litvinenko

When you have exotic assassinations then you need to be suspicious.

[1] Litvinenko was accompanied at the cafe where he was poisoned by a criminal who was known to sometimes work for the CIA.
[2] Litvinenko was desperate for money and was trying to blackmail Russian oligarchs and the Russian Mafia
[3] Litvinenko is thought to have smuggled nuclear materials

    Three ways to die!

    MH17

It would take a long essay to point out the absurdities in the West’s story about this.

In short : The US has a system to detect any surface missile launch anywhere on Earth – they detected no missile launch when MH17 was downed. A BUK missile would have an exhaust visible for tens of miles and no-one noticed it!

It is most probable that a Ukrainian fighter fired a missile at MH17, and when it failed to destroy the plane they finished it off with a 30mm cannon.

    Skripals

    This is also suspicious :

[1] Skripal was a prisoner in Russia and could have been killed easily
{2] His crime was not great – giving the Russian military phonebook to the US
[3] Immediately declared as Novichok even though weeks later Porton Down admitted they had no clue what it was like.
[4] It was claimed that Novichok was more powerful than VX which means the perfume bottle would contain enough to kill everyone in Salisbury – 100,000 people!
[5] The Skripals have since been locked away in solitary confinement so they can not speak freely.

    Navalny

[1] Although lionised by the West he enjoys 2% support in Russia and is simply not important.
[2] As it was pointed out, if Novichok was used he would be dead, as well as several other people
[3] If he was poisoned it was most likely done by someone in Germany.

In all these cases you have to assume the Russian government is totally incompetent using bizzarre Keystone Kops methods which points the finger at them!

    Green Tea

There seems to be a component of green tea which acts in a similar way to HCQ and helps zinc to enter cells. This is a credible suggestion as to why the Far East has so few C-19 deaths.

    NAVALNY

I was reading that a poll was conducted in Russia about who they would want as president. Putin came top at 23% and the next biggest were at 10%, with Navalny coming bottom at 2%.

If Putin steps down then, and this poll is an indication, his replacement will be communist or extreme far right!

The West does not really appreciate how moderate Putin is. They may do so when his replacement is elected!

Is ‘wokeness’ a form of white supremacy?

For a while it has seemed to me that a lot of ‘political correctness’ or ‘wokeness’ is white ‘liberals’ speaking ‘on behalf of’ minorities. Or at least what they feel the minority should be thinking. They will attack anyone from the minority who does not agree that they represent their viewpoint.

It is a form of white supremacy. Who, other than whites, feel the have the right to speak for others?

So we have a white BLM supporter telling a black woman that he is ‘blacker than her on the inside’, or a white woman berating a black cop for being a cop.

‘Wokeness’ would be irrelevant if white middle class people did not feel they had to act on it by firing those accused. For example, firing a college lecturer for saying ‘all lives matter’! Or firing a latino van driver who was photographed with his thumb and forefinger looped in what is said to be a sign of white supremacy. [I suspect this sign was never used by white supremacists but the accusation is the only proof needed!]

This is a form of hysteria which will continue until people start saying ‘this is ridiculous’.

Green Tea is the new HCQ?!

This is a very interesting article discussing whether green tea is effective against C-19. It seems to act like HCQ, but less contentious! Like vitamin D there is no absolute proof that it is effective but there is enough evidence to suggest it could be. Also, like vitamin D supplements, it is cheap so why not try it.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2020-08-08/green-tea-zinc

I am not a fan of green tea but a friend was describing how he made up a large batch of green tea, also using fruit teas, and perhaps adding cranberry juice and mint. He then bottles and refrigerates it and drinks it through the day. He days it is very refreshing in warm weather.

It is certainly going on my shopping list!, probably along with things to disguise the taste!

    VACCINE

I am still dubious as to whether a vaccine will ever be effective.

If the antibodies disappear quickly [to zero for 83% of people within 2 months, and almost 100% after 3 months] then how useful will a vaccine actually be?

It is claimed that 50% or more of the population are naturally resistant to the virus. This seems reasonable – I have not had the common flu for over 40 years although I must have been exposed,. My immune system deals with it as routine! This means that much of the population will be vaccinated when there is no need.

The current vaccines can have side effects, sometimes serious. The Russians claim their vaccine has no side effects but that needs verification.

Fauci now says that any vaccine is likely to be 50% to 60% effective.

Summarising : 50% of the population will not need a vaccine, and may suffer side effects if they do. For the rest the vaccine may only be effective for 2 months, or not at all.

Another question I have is whether repeat vaccinations cause ever increasing amounts of antibodies which may start harming the body’s organs.

    BIDEN

There was an amusing piece on a BBC ‘QI’I program about what is the minimum stimulus needed for a male turkey to attempt sex. It turns out to be a dead male turkey head mounted on a stick!

For the DNC Biden is the equivalent – the minimum stimulus for someone to vote Democrat!

Because of the villification of Trump supporters many will not admit to it, but WILL vote for Trump, so he can expect a larger support than shown in polls.

Given that millions may be made homeless I wonder how easy it will be for these people to vote. I am assuming they will be mainly Democrats.

The DNC represents the left wing in America [although not ‘left’ in the real world]. It is interesting that candidates who are true left are winning elections against traditional DNS incumbents [AOC, etc.]

Given the ‘force’ feeding of wealth into the ever open maws of the 0.1% it is no surprise that ordinary people are supporting Socialism. What other choice do they have!

The future of the US looks bleak, especially if Trump wins. Antifa may support ‘anarchy’ but in the real world anarchy comes down to who has the most guns! Imagine ‘The Purge’ happening day after day, especially with no police to stop it!

This seems to be an ideal solution for the EU’s problems with Facebook!

Facebook’s collection of user data and passing it on to a foreign government has caused concerns.

Forcing Facebook to sell its’ European operations would solve this.

COVID-19 after effects : Are these problems due to the virus OR to the antibodies?

These reports of complication seem to be for those who were hospitaliised.

The solution is to prevent the patients being hospitalised, and at the moment the ONLY option is treatment using zinc/HCQ/AZN.

I read that blacks and latinos are disproportionately affected by C-19 so suppressing the use of HCQ could be considered racist!

I would have liked to have seen more studies on the importance of vitamin D. Does it have a definite impact on the severity of the disease?

    COVID-19 after effects : Questions

Are these problems due to the virus OR to the antibodies?

Is it just people with a severe form that are affected OR can it also be those with a mild infection?

Most importantly, do these complications affect those correctly treated with zinc/HCQ/AZN?

    ————–

HCQ may be the only solution!

There is much excitement about a vaccine being created. These work by creating antibodies YET many studies have shown that the antibodies disappear in 1 to 3 months making a vaccine pointless.

Also the side effects may make the cure worse than the disease, especially if 50% of the population can fight off the virus without even needing to create antibodies, and most of the others only have a mild infection.

The virus is not slowed by warm weather so is likely to become endemic. This is helped by the rapid depletion of antibodies meaning that people can be re-infected.

I also have the impression from what I have read the re-infections can be more severe. Will repeated vaccinations cause the body to go into overdrive in producing antibodies which then go on to damage the body more than the virus?!

If we end up with an endemic virus with no effective vaccine then what do we do?

The ONLY effective cure at the moment is zinc/HCQ/AZN. There does not appear to be any alternative and the world will be forced to adopt it as the standard treatment.

    POLAR BEARS

The horror. All those poor seals who can not find slivers of ice to shelter their pups on have drowned, leaving the hungry polar bears to starve to death. What a catastrophe!

In the real world the lack of ice has meant that the seal’s food supply has increased leading to a spurt in the seal population. They can’t shelter on remote pieces of ice so must come ashore making it easier for the polar bears.

The polar bear population has at least doubled since the 1950s, and some claim it has quadrupled.

We have no idea what is ‘normal’ in the arctic as it has been affected by the ‘little ice age’ for centuries.

One BBC program on archaeology was very interesting as it covered the ‘Ebbsfleet elephant’. This is a site from 400,000 years ago when early man had butchered an elephant. At the time the UK was savannah populated by elephants, lions, rhinos and monkeys. They concluded ‘it must have been much warmer then’. Now THAT’s what I call climate change! BREXIT

Not sure if the UK understands the implications of BREXIT!

It needs to establish trade relations with the world but seems to be keen to alienate most potential markets.

The campaign against Russia is well established, but we now have an expanding campaign against China.

A deal with the EU was never likely, and the EU must take some of the blame for that.

While Trump has declared a willingness to strike a deal they are likely to drive a hard bargain, and if Trump loses a deal is not guaranteed.

On top of that the UK will be suffering from the economic disaster of lockdowns, and it already had a large debt before that.

As a military sidekick to the US the UK is likely to, or already has, alienated other markets. I feel that this militarism will continue even if it harms the economy – the people affected are not the ones in power!

The future of the UK seems bleak.

The Moderna vaccine test will be interesting.

Several countries have now reported that the antibodies disappear quickly, to zero for 83% after two months.

The results of these tests will show if a vaccine is ever possible.

It may also show whether the antibodies themselves are actually a problem.

    ANTIBODIES

I read that about 45% to 65% of the population will be naturally resistant – their body’s defence system will eliminate it without the need to produce antibodies. I also read that many of those with asymptomatic or mild versions of C-19 will not produce antibodies – again, it is dealt with by the body’s natural defence system.

I also read that antibodies disappear quickly – from two weeks to two months depending on the severity of the infection. This means people can be re-infected. There will never be herd immunity.

Now it appears that the antibodies can be worse than the disease!

Vaccines work by stimulating the creation of antibodies. The above suggests that this could either be harmful and/or the effects will only last for a short time. Either way it seems that a vaccine is not a viable solution.

We are now in the summer months where a normal flu has died out, but this virus is still very active.

We may be stuck with it for a long time and it could become endemic.

It seems we need a treatment which prevents antibodies being created, which points to HCQ.

There is the French approach : taking HCQ as soon as the symptoms manifest. There is also the American approach : treating the disease as soon as the symptoms become serious with HCQ/zinc/AZN.

There are enough treated patients for a follow-up study to find out what the long term effects were.

It does seem that HCQ is our only hope, other approaches are either too late or may cause their own problems.

    EVICTIONS

So this will leave millions of empty homes. Who will buy them?

Even at a quarter of their current price why would anyone buy them if they are unlikely to be able to rent them out.

Will it end up like Detroit where houses could be sold for a few dollars?

Empty houses could be vandalised and stripped of anything valuable, like copper.

it could cost banks far more to evict than to let people live there rent free.

    REVOLUTION

I know what you mean about the reporting on Trump.

I have a friend who reads the Guardian, and although he lives in London he subscribes to the NYTimes and WaPo!

He seems to have dedicated his life to hating Trump! He was really shocked when I said I did not care about Trump except when he did things that affected the world. He didn’t understand how I could not HATE Trump.

He can’t understand why I am negative about Hillary. He thinks John McCain was a good guy [I presume because he was anti-Trump.] No doubt he will soon be thinking the same about John Bolton. He still believes Russiagate is fact.

I said I read articles on ZeroHedge and he asked if it was right-wing. I said yes because it is American and is right of centre but then he thought it was something like Breitbart! Apparently anything ‘right-wing’ is automatically extreme right loony!

I sent him a link to an article on RT [Russia Today] which he would not read as would ‘feel uncomfortable’ reading anything on their site.

It is a shame to have someone you know as a mental zombie, except instead of ‘Braaains!’ it is ‘Truuump!’ or ‘Ruuussia!’

The US Media has driven millions into this kind of demented frenzy so if Trump wins again they could easily be manipulated into taking physical violent actions. Similarly if Biden wins there will be millions of Trump supporters who will feel angry that the elction was stolen from them.

The US electorate is now so polarised that a civil war could occur.

THE ‘PANDEMIC’ IS AS BAD AS A COUNTRY WANTS IT TO BE!

As you say, the vitamin D effect is old news. I had expected it to be more widely reported at the time, especially as Asians and blacks were disproportionately affected by C-19 and it could be the reason. I would expect people in care homes don’t get much sunshine either.

Although it is only correlation it fits in with our understanding of the importance of vitamin D in fighting infection. It is a cheap supplement – you can probably get a months supply for a dollar so better to take it.

It seems that HCQ+zinc is close to being 100% effective IF given as soon as the symptoms become serious. Of course this is from doctors actually trying to save the lives of their patients, not anti-Trumpers or those with links to the pharmaceutical industry.

The most impressive story is Spain, which used to be the worst country in Europe for C-19. I read a couple of articles saying Spain was using HCQ widely so started checking their stats, then about three weeks ago the number of daily deaths plummeted to single figures, and they have reported that there have been NO DEATHS REPORTED IN THE PAST TEN DAYS!

It seems that there is little interest from the media or other countries in what Spain has been doing which implies they WANT to have a continuing horror story. The possible reasons are disturbing, such as COMPULSORY extreme tracking or COMPULSORY vaccination [and micro-chipping?].

    HCQ

One thought would be if patients are in hospital after being treated with HCQ then the treatment was given too late! How many AVOIDED being in hospital because ther WERE treated?

Australia is one of those countries which use HCQ as standard and consequently have very low death rate [Although it could be because their average social distancing is 5 miles!!!]

Russia used another anti-malarial drug to treat the virus from the beginniing [Mefloquine I think], plus some HCQ. Reports seem to suggest HCQ is being used more than it was.

The Russians have widespread testing so may be picking up more cases than other countries.

Their death rate at 1% of reported cases is to be envied. Okay, so to be attacked because not enough Russians are dying!

‘Reported cases’ is a fantasy figure which usually means someone needed medical attention. There have probably been over 5 million infections in the UK alone!

In context, assuming an average lifespan of 70 there will have been about 45 million deaths in the world so far this year. 7.8 billion/70 gives 114 million expected deaths worldwide for the whole year.

There is this bizarre idea that ONLY deaths from C19 matter, even if lockdowns cause more deaths for other reasons. Also, the disease is so widespread that lockdowns can only slow infections, not prevent them. At some point everyone will be exposed to the virus [or may already have been!].

To compare Sweden with ‘lockdown’ countries you need to add deaths caused DUE TO THE LOCKDOWNS.

Thinking about it, this is an example of the ‘trolley problem’!

    ALSO

Why does no-one mention Japan? Like Sweden it has no lockdowns BUT has low infection rates and low death rates. The main difference seems to be that almost everyone wears face masks!

Anecdotal : A friend said someone he knows had an elderly relative taking blood-thinners [Warfarin]. She fell over and was taken to hospital but bled to death. Her death was put down as COVID-19!

My friend said the NHS receives 3,000 GBP for any death in the hospital, but 39,000 GBP IF they die from COVID-19. I had never heard of this so do not know if it true.

    FACE MASKS

Extracts from the article posted below :

But other nations that used basic common sense have fared so much better than us. The following comes from Vanity Fair…

” The day before yesterday, 21 people died of COVID-19 in Japan. In the United States, 2,129 died. Comparing overall death rates for the two countries offers an even starker point of comparison with total U.S. deaths now at a staggering 76,032 and Japan’s fatalities at 577. Japan’s population is about 38% of the U.S., but even adjusting for population, the Japanese death rate is a mere 2% of America’s.

This comes despite Japan having no lockdown, still-active subways, and many businesses that have remained open—reportedly including karaoke bars, although Japanese citizens and industries are practicing social distancing where they can. Nor have the Japanese broadly embraced contact tracing, a practice by which health authorities identify someone who has been infected and then attempt to identify everyone that person might have interacted with—and potentially infected. So how does Japan do it?”

It is actually very simple how the Japanese were able to accomplish this.

Virtually everyone in the entire country is wearing a mask when they go out in public.

Yes, it is just that simple.

In addition, a number of studies have found that mortality rates are much, much lower for those that have a sufficient level of Vitamin D in their systems.

Ultimately, we could have avoided so much pain and suffering if everyone had just been willing to wear masks and if everyone had been taking plenty of Vitamin D.

But instead of focusing on these basic common sense solutions, the mainstream media continues to push the fear button, and now Congress is considering a bill which would spend 100 billion dollars “to create an army of contact tracers”…

It’s amazing when you think about it – two whole continents, North America and Europe, totally incapable of making PPE equipment!

    HCQ

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) say that HCQ can help at least 90% of C19 sufferers, probably more if the treatment is started as soon as the patient develops severe symptoms.

Hydroxychloroquine Has about 90 Percent Chance of Helping COVID-19 Patients

One treatment from a New York doctor was :

Zinc sulfate, 220 milligrams once a day, five days.
Hydroxychloroquine, 200 milligrams twice a day, five days.
Azithromycin, 500 milligrams once a day, five days.

There seems to be two main reasons for the campaign against HCQ. The first is from those who hate Trump and do not this to be used because he said it could help. The second is from those with links to pharma who want a chance to make money out of C19, and possibly to certain oligarchs who have their own agenda. In my opinion deliberately withholding treatment using HCQ is manslaughter at the very least!

Again from the AAPS, an article about Remdesvir vs, HCQ :

    PERSPECTIVE

In the Winter of 2014/15 [in the UK] there was a severe form of the common flu.

    40,000 people died.

As with C19 it was mostly the elderly with other health issues.

I don’t remember any fear, panic or lockdowns!

    WEIRD

I was wondering about my own risk and wanted figures on age of death and contributary health issues.

    Nope!

The only figures I could find for the UK were when the number of deaths was 1,132, nothing more recent. Another set of figures was based on Chinese data from Feb 11th!

    From that original UK article:

Age Deaths per million IN THAT AGE GROUP [March?]
    Group
    UK BELGIUM FRANCE
    80+ 219 512 232
    60-79 28 100 44
    40-59 19 15 9
    20-39 5 1 1
    0-19 0 0 0

Similarly the average age of death. The only figures I have seen are from articles I read and are Italy [78] and Germany [82]. This is why I think of the average age of death as being 80.
