Much of this was known at the time, and one can even read about it in official US docs, which do offer some ’facts’ (see link) which don’t (imho) unravel or explain anything much. Obfuscation, piling on details, conjectures, going back and forth in time (X was later arrested, etc.) fitting in with one story or another, etc. is the name of the game.

In CH there are no official or other advisories for boosters, flu shots, triple shots, from Fed / Cantonal authorities. Nor afaik from individual docs, I have heard (perso. comm.) .. they obey…and are relieved…
On the ground (CH) ppl are treating COV like some past crazy thingie, breathe deep, rock a tune, yay, all over now.
Part of the reason for this is that there have been, since 2019 to now, no excess deaths for ppl younger than 65. (Over that age huge excess, how much, why, etc. other topic.)

Day, 9 Aug post: Even though the societal-terror has abated, doctors like Pierre Kory MD and Paul Marik MD, who treated people effectively with ivermectin and other life saving therapies, and spread knowledge about how to save lives this way, are now being decertified by their medical specialty boards.
Ppl were obviously falling ill with a flu-type malady in Feb ’20 (plus, well before in 2019, other topic, > vaping illness, military games, etc.) It was suddenly decided that a pandemic was raging and had to be declared as such (WHO, Gvmts on board, etc. in March 2020, all on the same page at the same time!) .. After less than 100 deaths (afaik), which is insane.
One might interpret, the Plot that it has been planned for by Big Pharma for a long time. (e.g. Amerithrax scandal; in France, swine flu, with the Health Min. Bachelot ordering millions of vax doses which were proved to be nefarious / useless, then she was ousted) was coming to fruition..
Certainly, Big Pharma (+ Big Med in cahoots..) has been scrambling and touting its products for a long time, using all kinds of obfuscation, tricks, etc. including the rough-shod ‘testing’ of ‘meds’ to get them ‘accredited’… other topic… Moves that are not properly regulated, and haven’t been for along time.

The crux of the matter is: Medecine, in the sense of care for sick people by trained personnel who do their best, with whatever tools are available, has been politised, taken over by Gvmts, who claim, and are awarded, increasing control of ppl, citizens, etc.

On Western hopes (now supposedly! .. dashed) re the UKR counter-offensive (see some news posted by Ilargi at top), those in charge, and no doubt many others, knew perfectly well the ‘counter offensive’ would FAIL in the sense that UKR would gain no ground, log no victories of any kind, would just be moving soldiers and matériel into the meat grinder, to be chewed up by Russian forces.

To sum up, there was no pandemic. Several Regions in France were not affected at all, they applied the usual protocols > zero excess deaths.
The plandemic (or panic-pandemic) was run from the Center, Paris is truly the heart of the Gvmt, the Elite, and the Oligarchs.. and med. authorities, hospitals, there, swept up ppl and (imho ..?) killed them.

It made headlines, people were shocked. I am sure they could all swim (though that was not directly stated in the news) – no earthquake, terrible storm, etc. took place.

The ‘Collective West’ (roughly, NATO + EU + 5 eyes + Japan..) is making crazy demands such as that Russia goes back to the 1990 borders.
Such exravagant demands divorced from reality don’t spring from any will to end the conflict, save lives, cross-border commerce, international relations, but rather are clarioned to signal that ‘the conflict’ will end only when the ‘Collective West’ decides it will quit and withdraw after having done as much damage as possible.
If it takes 10 (or 5…) dead Ukrainians to kill one Russian, it is worth it. In any case Slav lives are of no account.
The Collective West, the USA as main driver, when it decides the end of this operation, will just leave the UKR theatre (see Afgh, Lybia, Syria is more complicated) to its fate, and big Cos. who are active there, and btw already own a lot of the land etc., they will take it over, with a puppet Gvmt. in place.
Re-building will also be lucrative up to a point, that depends on many factors, v. complex, basically, what ressources can extracted, mined, commercialised for profit, how can the cheap labor be captured and held, what manufacturing, etc. And … how much investment can be attracted, for hope of profit / noble causes, to go into greedy pockets?

Serving the higher / greater, good, the supra-ordinate goal that is essential, etc. has been used throughout human history to absolve, legitimise violent, other nefarious actions, as John points out. Usually a small group or cabal formulates the “policies” or “actions to be undetaken” and ppl, ordinary ppl, follow along, participate, thru mixtures of self-preservation, the need for obeisance, venerating leaders, etc.
Often, some group is targeted as unclean, evil, violent, and this unleashes a hate campaign which provides comfort and justification (and some blindness..) to those who particpate. The groups might be ethnic, religious, professional, whatever, the targetting serves as (John makes similar points, I’m just getting it together in a slightly different way.)
The hate towards the non-vaxxed is an example so stunning I still can’t get my mind around it. (Because, officially, the vaxxed had nothing to fear from the unvaxxed, as the vax suposedly protected them – I needn’t go on.) Overall, it looked like an exercise in pure, crude, undistilled, psy-op propaganda, the manipulation of billions of ppl, just to test, could that work? And it did, maybe with 75% success, or whatever, depending on the goals, the nos., which are opaque. All ‘advanced’ countries followed the script, including Russia, China, Japan. (Of course many were told hush-hush this is a bio-weapon so XTREME measures are needed.)
I mean, this is just incredible, it is beyond fascinating and terrifying. Although one can see it as an escalation, with Big Pharma finally making strides forward, after various ‘vax’ and other semi-failures (swine flu, etc.) thru corruption and buying up / controlling (with others I presume) the safe-guard Agencies (WHO, CDC, national ‘safety’ boards, etc.) and partnering with Defense, or suborning it.
One question that recurs is, will these excess deaths, caused for some large % by the vax, be publically acknowledged? With some kind of re-set, review, analysis, with reparations offered? The ‘we need to learn from our mistakes’ kinda thing? (See for ex. Thalidomide.)

As for appeasement and negotiation, Macron has toed that line with Gilets Jaunes up to a point (imho none of the concessions won by the G. J. were of any use) and this success on the part of Macron, at a fakey throw to the peasants, was felt like a victory by the Gvmt. Of course, that was only a temporary stay, until the next wave of protests, like now.
So the Macron Gvmt. will limp along, between Repression and State violence, and Concessions to Appease, it has no consistent analysis, no plan, map, for doing the best for its citizens.

It presents in depth two victims, ex-sporty young man 35, almost totally physically debilitated, and gorgeous chick younger also sporty, a big point is made of that, and w. a great job etc. now reduced in function but still gorgeous, etc.
The ‘facts’ and ‘stats’ are, as usual, mangled. At the start it is announced that only “a tiny minority” suffered COV19vax side-effects, but later on in the show some doc quotes some stats that are maybe close to correct (I didn’t take the time to check) and he points out, why did all these probs arise when the vaxx campaign began? Now that was brief and he isn’t ‘attractive’ (fat..) or ‘convincing’…
If all this is sorta planned / is just the ‘state’ TV doing its thing, in the sense of echoing its potential audience, skirting around and supporting the Gov, is impossible to dope out, which is interesting as well.
There is plenty of footage of the outraged parents of the sporty 35 guy, voicing all the usual complaints of being refused medically etc. For the rest, watch it.
