“Obvious from Twitter that the bridge was a suicide attack. Not a word in the media”A lot of “suicide attack” in the media.
It was a big truck.
An extra 1000Kg of high explosive would not be noticed.

Re Ivermectin. We ordered twice via India. Canada customs intercepted them both. We got very polite form letters telling us that we would not be receiving our order.
We asked our vet for some to de-worm our pigs……”How much do you want? I’ll give you a little extra in case you “spill ” some”. Injectable liquid that can also be administered orally.

Participant@ Farmer McGregor & WDT Thanks for passing on the glass ceiling trick. Sometimes robbing is a problem for us as well. We usually use the wet sheet method. Works a bit, but not great. This year, no robbing yet, but we are just about to rob them ourselves….we call it harvesting honey, the bees see it differently.
After many years of persistent work in soil building and finding varieties that work here, the garden is doing extremely well. Are trying our hand with a couple of porkers too.cloudhidden

ParticipantScything…..Oh, mind the rocks…..we live in a rocky place, scything not an option. (after many years of picking them, we have piles of stones, but they do grow out of the ground. I never thought that rocks were a renewable resource! Sheep would work, but for wolves. High fencing against deer (not many, but sufficient that they will destroy garden and fruit trees.)
Getting a couple of pigs they can stay inside a high fence.

Dried garbonzo beans (chick peas) or actually any legume can be ground into flour for making bread. Bread can be made from potatoes too. Buckwheat can be grown where wheat cannot. we’ve done these and all will work. Wheat is nice, and makes the best bread, but in a pinch…..cloudhidden

ParticipantDid not know about rumours of a bank run in Canada until reading of that just now on TAE.
Earlier this morning, I paid off all my outstanding balances and emptied my acct. because of the Emergencies Act.
Good timing.
BTW, have been hearing of a General Strike in the U.S. and Canada to begin on 21 February and continue for a week.

I think you mistake me, at least in part.
I am saying, go home, take a vacation, along with all of of us who are in the same camp. If the wheels do not roll, the system will collapse. Same effect as if the bridges and border crossings are blocked. It would not take long.
I am not vaxxed, won’t be, and have done my share of killing.cloudhidden
ParticipantI’m seeing calls for the use of force from both sides of this. We should not go there. I speak from my experience. I complied and went to war against people I did not even know, and for a purpose that was supported by lies. In the end, nobody wins, Innocents die.
Actually, at this point, maybe the truckers should all go home and stay there, along with all the other truckers and the hundreds of thousands of citizens that support this Freedom movement. Go home, stay home.
No law against staying home…….after all, the governments have been asking us to do this for the last 2 years. Give ’em what they want.
It’s called a General Strike.
Do not cooperate.
Do not comply.
